Orla Maxcy '25, Editor in Chief
As Editor-in-Chief, Orla Maxcy oversees the entire publication process, working closely with Academic advisor Daniel Benjamin and co-founder and co-editor Miranda Shandell to ensure the smooth operation and success of the newspaper. They are responsible for coordinating the team, assigning and editing articles, and managing the overall content and layout of each issue.
Miranda Shandell '25, Editor in Chief
Miranda Shandell (she/her) is a senior at Abington Friends School. She is a co-founder of the Blue & White and this will be her second year serving as EIC. Shandell's responsibilities include co-authoring editorials and working on the editing staff for every edition. She hopes to take journalism classes in college and to develop scientific journaling skills that will work in tandem with her interest in a degree in pharmaceutical science. In addition to her responsibilities as EIC, during the year Shandell is a competitive dancer, equestrian, involved in AFS theatre productions, and practices photography.
