Priyal Sanathara ’25, Features Editor
Position: Features Editor
Priyal Sanathara, (she/her/hers) a senior, has been involved in the Blue and White since the 23-24 school year. Picking up numerous odd jobs, Sanathara found herself coming into the role of the B&W’s website coordinator, and now for the upcoming year is also taking on the role of Head Features Editor. Having written for over three editions, Sanathara is a seasoned writer who was even given an accolade; her article Elemental: The Importance of Highlighting First Gen Stories was honored as a “Best of SNO” article and republished on the SNO website.
An enjoyer of books and science, Sanathara finds herself discovering her own identity as an Indian American woman through the media she takes in and the articles she produces because of her unique upbringing. Sanathara has big dreams for college, hoping to continue writing on the side as she pursues astrophysics and political science on a double major track.
Sanathara doesn’t only write for fun. She plays the electric bass, piano, drives her younger sister everywhere, watches science fiction movies and does Kathak (a form of Indian classical dance) throughout the year. You can usually find her running around the halls of AFS, on a mission to tick all the items off of her to-do list with her headphones on.
