Maya Gest (they/them) is a senior at AFS. They joined the Blue & White in the spring of 2025 and contributed illustrations to accompany some articles. They are looking forward to working with the staff of the Blue & White and creating more art to diversify the visual content of the newspaper. Outside of the newspaper, Gest is a co-clerk of the Community Design Club and one of the leading organizers of the AFS Art Fair. In their free time, they love to play ultimate frisbee, read, draw, and listen to music.
